Q. What is a drop card or sizzle card?
A. It is a card (like the BILL-BOARD®) designed to be picked up off the ground because the person that spies it can't resist it. Inside a drop card, you want the recipient to find an offer so compelling that it SIZZLES! Sizzle cards offer an advantage in that the recipient tends to retain it due to its novelty. While other business cards usually end up forgotten in a Rolodex™ (or in the trash!), money always stays in a wallet—and so will your BILL-BOARD® drop card!
Q. What is the size of the BILL-BOARD®?
A. When open, the BILL-BOARD® measures approximately 4 ¼ × 3 ¼ inches. The custom print area is approximately a half inch less in dimension due to our VirtualBorder©. All custom printing is done on the back of the card so that when it is folded, it fits perfectly in a wallet or billfold.
Q. What is the thickness of the BILL-BOARD®?
A. Our standard 14 pt cardstock makes our cards feel like the thickness of a good quality business card. We’ve found that quality cardstock increases the life of the BILL-BOARD® and gives the overall impression of value, which encourages those who find it or receive it to keep it. Our cards don’t easily tear (like paper stock will) when taken in and out of a wallet or billfold.
Q. What can I have printed on my BILL-BOARD®?
A. You may print just about anything you would like, including full-color logos, photos, text in any font or color, etc. Quick Tip: Having too much text (being too wordy) does not always produce the best business card. These are cards of action. You want your prospect to call you or to go on-line for more details. Less is more.
Q. Did you say that I can have color print on my drop card?
A. YES! There is no additional cost for color.
Q. Do you charge for design work?
A. Graphic design is included in the cost of the cards if you provide us with your own usable logo and/or basic layout design idea. There is no extra cost for proof changes.
Q. What type of image work best?
A. For best results, we recommend that file formats have a minimum of 350 dpi resolution with transparent backgrounds. All color artwork and/or images should be provided in CMYK color mode; black & white artworks and/or images must be provided in grayscale. We accept the following file formats: .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .AI, .PSD, .JPG, .PNG, .PDF. But no worries— send us what you have. If any issues arise with what you provided to us, we'll let you know.
Q. Will I see my BILL-BOARD® before it is printed?
A. Absolutely! We will not print your order until you are 100% satisfied with your proof.
Q. How long will it take to approve my proof for use?
A. Usually the same business day (Monday-Friday) if received before 2 PM Eastern Time. Your proof will be sent to you via e-mail.
Q. After my proof is approved, how long until you ship my order?
A. Turnaround time is usually less than 72 hours once proof approval is received. Shipping is provided by UPS standard ground and is included in the cost of your cards if shipped within the contiguous 48 states. Additional charges may apply for rush shipping or shipping outside of the Continental U.S.
Q. What if I want to re-order?
A. Please do! We keep all orders and all approved proofs on file. Just provide us with your order number (or other specific order details), and we can find your proof.
Q. Is it safe to order on-line from your website?
A. Yes. Safeguarding your personal information is priority. That's why we use PayPal, which encrypts all sensitive information and verifies that your Internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher. Your information is then protected with an encryption key length of 128 bits, the highest level commercially available. PayPal does not directly connect their firewall-protected servers to the Internet. Plus—you do not have to be a member of PayPal to use their service. PayPal allows you to use your Visa or MasterCard just like you would for any other purchase.
Q. Are dollar bill drop cards legal?
A. Our BILL-BOARD® drop cards satisfy guidelines set forth by the United States Federal Treasury; therefore, they are not considered counterfeit currency. However, we cannot be responsible for how they are used by our customers. Never attempt to pass off BILL-BOARD® drop cards as legal tender, not even as a joke.
Q. Do you offer free samples?
A. Yes. Call us to request a free sample. Please note it can take up to five business days to receive your sample. All of the images and video on this site are not touched up in anyway and represent our drop cards - the only thing you are missing out is touching them. They "feel" like thick top quality business cards.
Q. What is your return policy?
A. Understandably, we cannot offer refunds or returns of custom printed items unless we created the mistake that deviated from the proof you approved or if you cancel your order prior to printing.
Q. Do you pre-fold the BILL-BOARD®?
A. No. Once we print the stock, it runs through our precision die-cutting machine. When cut to size, they are too small and uniquely shaped for automatic folding machines. We emboss a fold-line into the BILL-BOARD® when we die cut it so that our BILL-BOARD® cards are easy to fold accurately each and every time. You will be surprised how many you can fold in just a few minutes.
Q. Do you offer rush service?
A. Depending on work our load and the time-of-day that we receive your order, it is possible to have your order shipped the same day. However, there is no guarantee of same day delivery, and we reserve the right to add a surcharge of up to $60.00 plus any additional costs for non-standard shipping and delivery.
Q. Can I order two or more different custom orders of 500 and get a quantity discount?
A. No. Each custom order is its own order and is subject to the price at the quantity you order.
Q. Do you offer other denominations?
A. No. Field testing has shown that the denomination of $100 is most effective. We find that sales prospects seem to like flashing that denomination ($100) when they pay for items in a checkout line. Flashing a $5 bill doesn't have the same effect.
Q. I have seen those million dollar bills - do you print those, too?
A. No. Those are intended for a different use - like a thank you for your business ("Thanks a million," for example). Our BILL-BOARD® is designed for marketing and promoting business that you don't already have. You use our BILL-BOARD® cards to get business! Besides, a million dollar bill looks extremely fake and is not designed to work like drop cards are intended.
Q. Do you offer an affiliate program?
A. No. We are a real physical located company that prints, die-cuts and packages within our own physicality. We also have a separate retail location open to the public. We see no need to have affiliates (commission fees) increase your purchase price when you can easily purchase factory direct via the Internet.
Q. Do you print other item besides BILL-BOARD drop cards?
